"The dark purple light rises in the north,
A yellow light rises in the east.
Then we of the flowers of the earth come forth
To receive a long life of joy.
We call ourselves the Butterfly Maidens."

Description
Allow dreams--what Crazy Horse called "the real world"--to inform the aesthetics of your writing. This workshop will follow the credo of Blake and Crazy Horse, encouraging an esoteric, rather undeveloped territory to be dove-tailed into literary writing.
That is, here the participants will be introduced to developing a "sixth sense" which can inform literary writing, especially the form of fiction, voice of poetry and content of creative non-fiction. Here we utilizing archetypes and mythological symbols to contact "intuitive" truths which can then inform metaphors and metonymy.
Participants will explore ways to tap their night dreams in order to develope characters within fiction/flash fiction And to inform their poetic voice. Calling on the muses, this workshop infuses a writer with ways to unravel the dream that is "life". And become an active co-creator/creatress of realities which can inspire our current human condition into an expansive transformation.
